The Malaysian Alliance for Embedding Rapid Reviews in Health Systems Decision Making (MAera) convened a stakeholder dialogue for the Rapid Review on Integrative Medicine today, with medical professionals possessing dual formal training of modern and traditional medicine from Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital, National Cancer Institute, the Directors and their teams from the Traditional dan Complementary Medicine Division of the MOH as well as IHSR.
Dr Shakirah MS presented results of the review, including methods, strengths, limitations and contextual application. A fascinating discussion ensured, revolving around implications for developing Integrative Medicine in Malaysia and the possible ways forward.
